My Journey To Specializing in Medical Family Therapy

We are all on a journey through life, each of us with a different destination.  My road has led me to be of service to others.


As a credentialed Medical Family Therapist my quest is to assist individuals and couples gain clarity about their feelings, thoughts and behaviors to create harmony in their relationships. I have held many roles in my career; however, I feel called to provide therapy to individuals and couples struggling with mental health concerns.

Prior to specializing exclusively in Medical Family Therapy I held the following positions:



COO of PE backed, national, multisite custom mobility business based in Franklin TN, with presence in 44 States. This business provides customized wheelchairs and medical devices for severely disabled adults and pediatrics to facilitate the highest level of independence.  Joined business as a turnaround leader.  In 2006 the business was a rollup of 60 mom-and-pop shops operating under 60 operating plans in an entrepreneurial environment. Leadership had limited skills and performance was erratic and unpredictable.  Unusual business model under heavy regulatory scrutiny.

  • Significant financial turnaround and high YOY growth

  • Led growth to PE sale twice at high multiples

  • Created standard operating plans, budgets, KPI’s with significant gains quarter over quarter

  • Cultivated and managed supplier relationships, pricing, collaboration

Largest provider of home health care, hospice and rehab services with operations in 42 States and 1.3B in annual revenue. Charged with turnaround leadership of largest region and the creation, training and deployment of enterprise wide clinical documentation and business management software.
